From Death to Life-The God of Impossiblities

John 11:22
"But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask"

The situation is very bad. Lazarus has been dead for 4 days. The tomb would be stinking. There is not even a ray of hope for anyone. But inspite of all this Martha is saying Lord even now I know you can do wonders. She had undoubting faith in God. Irrespective of the situation, she trusted God.

There is no history till then of people being risen from the dead. Christ had not performed such a miracle till that time. The disciples and the people had only seen him healing the sick. But here we find a Martha who stands out from the crowd. She did not look into her problem or into her surroundings. She just looked to God. Thats why she could speak to Jesus. If she had been like her sister worrying at home she would not have been able to believe in Christ’s miracle.
We read that when she heard Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him. She did not bother to call Mary as perhaps Mary would have led her back. She just wanted to find a solution to her problem and she knew that Jesus could do the miraculous.

This is a great faith from Martha.Even when Lazarus is dead and by human means there is no way of a solution, Martha believes in her savior. She believes he can find the solution for that. It is this faith that Jesus tested and she confessed His sonship and authority. If we need to see a miracle in our life we need to acknowledge our inabilities and accept His authority in our life.
Perhaps we may have to wait 4 days or even months or years. But His promises never fail. He who promised is faithful to the very end. Though the world may say that it is an impossibility and there is not even a ray of hope by any means, Christ says “Yes”…Yes if you would have undoubting faith in God and look only to Him in faith.

Jesus Christ who rose Lazarus from the dead is still awake and He is mighty and powerful to open the tombs of death, the tombs that have been closed by the enemy. Nothing…nothing is too difficult for Him…If you would believe He would open the promises He has for you…No tomb is too deep, too stinky or hard for the Lord to open. Tell the Lord your problems, believe in Him and He is definitely going to turn around your situation. Yes He is the God of miracles…The Beginning and the End, The Ressurection and the Life…

If you believe you will see the glory of God…From stinkiness to fragrance…From darkness to light..From death to life..Such is the power of Christ in the lives of those who would believe..AMEN…!!!!
